URBAN DESIGN VENTURES offers Community Development Services to State Small Cities Communities and Federal Entitlements. UDV’s staff provides communities with technical assistance in preparing applications, grantsmanship, guidance in interpreting Federal Regulations and program guidelines, addressing monitoring/performance issues, and management and record keeping services. Specific areas of experience include:
UDV specializes in the preparation of applications and the administration of projects for communities under the CDBG and HOME programs funded through their state agency administering Federal Grants.
UDV specializes in the administration, management, and technical assistance to access these Federal Grant programs.
UDV specializes in the preparation of Consolidated Plans for Federal Entitlement Cities, Urban Counties as well as States for CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA grants.
UDV specializes in the preparation of annual action plans and strategic plans for the allocation of entitlement funds to specific project activities.
UDV specializes in the preparation of CAPERs that report the expenditures and accomplishments of Federal Grants on an annual basis.
UDV specializes in the input, maintenance, and report management of draw downs for federal funds.
UDV specializes in the preparation of ERR’s in accordance with the NEPA guidelines, including notices and the Request for Release of Funds.
UDV specializes in the preparation of plans to encourage citizen participation in accordance with Federal Regulations.
UDV specializes in the preparation of AI’s as a strategy to outline the community’s plan to affirmatively further fair housing.
UDV specializes in the preparation and certification of NRSA’s to address neighborhood issues, stabilize areas, and utilize a broader Low/Mod area benefit definition.
