URBAN DESIGN VENTURES, LLC is a full service multi-discipline team of proficient and skilled professionals, which provides advice to public and private clients on an assortment of housing and development issues. UDV tailors its consulting services to effectively meet the needs of each client on a personal basis.

URBAN DESIGN VENTURES' VISION is to increase its clients' capacity by fostering a team approach.

URBAN DESIGN VENTURES' GOAL is to provide professional and timely consulting services to large and small public entities, non-profits, and private enterprises in the fields of community and economic development, housing, urban design, architecture, historic preservation, financing, and planning services.

Located in the Historic District of Homestead, URBAN DESIGN VENTURES, LLC was established as a planning consulting firm in 2002.  After thirty-five (35) years in the field, Walter J. Haglund, A.I.A. founded the firm along with Karl M. Haglund to address their clients' needs through a consumer oriented and results based approach that is both professional and individualized.

With over seventy (70) years of combined experience, URBAN DESIGN VENTURES has cultivated a diverse range of clients. UDV's client base spans the States of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, and Georgia. Since 2002, UDV has assisted large to small public entities manage over $300 million annually in Federal Funds. In addition, the UDV staff assisted in obtaining an allocation of $88 million in economic development funds and $20 million in state funds for our clients.
